Haiti Relief Ships 2010

NDCC Almirante Sabóia (ex-RFA Sir Bedivere) of Brazil leaves for Haiti February 1. Other ships so far announced to head for Haitian waters include (Brazil) Almirante Sabóia, ARC Cartagena de Indias, FS Siroco, FS Francis Garnier, HMCS Halifax, HMCS Athabaskan, USCGC Hamilton, USCGC Valiant, USCGC Tahoma, USCGC Legare, USS Bataan, USS Fort McHenry, USS Carter Hall, USNS Grasp, USNS Comfort, USNS 1st LT Jack Lummus, USNS Big Horn, USNS Sacagawea, USNS Lewis and Clark, USNS Henson, USNS Sumner (Cancelled), USNS Pfc. Dewayne T. Williams, SS Cornhusker State, SS Gopher State, SS Petersburg (cancelled), SS Cape May, MV Huakai, ITS Cavour, SPS Castilla, ARM Huasteco, ARM Rio Papaolapan, RFA Largs Bay and HNLMS Pelikaan. Venezuela will be sending a yet to be named ship. Ironically, Forward was the first vessel to arrive in New York after the 9/11 terrorist mass murders. USCG photo.
