USNS
Shasta will be the last dedicated ammunition ship in US Navy service when
she retires in September of 2011. Her four surviving sisters will be
deactivated as follows: USNS Kilauea September 2008, USNS Mount Baker August
2010, USNS Flint December 2010 and USNS Kiska January 2011. US
